Honey, Honey… Sugar Sugar

OK, so you may be thinking I am writing about the song from the 1950s. OR was it 60s? I dunno, but that is only because I am not writing about that.

I am instead, writing about the fact that this weekend we undertook an experiment – let you eat whatever you want. See, the thing is, we have been keeping you on the diet recommended for you; removing sugar, gluten, chicken, onions, eggs etc from your diet to help modulate your mood swings. For 5 months or so we have done it and for 5 months your moods have been much better and even at school, you have been a better student.

This weekend we thought we would see what happened if we let you eat what you want.

Let’s just say that it is the last time we do that. Sure, we can argue that you overloaded, but the thing is, all we let you have was a milkshake, chicken pot pie and bread. AND YIKES!

So the lesson here is – we are removing you from sugar and sugar from you.

You are the better for it, and you and Cooper are the better for it and argue less.

So, a note for the records of time – if you are having trouble regulating your moods or staying focussed, try cutting out the gluten and sugar.
